Quick answer

AppShotSet turns one master screenshot design into a separate 1080 × 1920 Google Play phone output. Choose a live Pixel frame, adjust the Android crop and safe zone, review the first-three story, and export PNG files. Google Play accepts other valid dimensions too; AppShotSet currently includes this high-resolution portrait profile.

The first three

Lead with UI, not a wall of slogans

Google recommends showing the actual in-app experience and keeping taglines out of areas that may be cut off. Treat the first three phone screenshots as one compact product explanation.

01

Outcome

Name one useful result and pair it with the clearest current Android UI state.

02

Core action

Show the workflow that makes the opening promise believable.

03

Difference

Use visible product proof for a capability that matters to your audience.

Workflow

One source, a real Android-specific review

  1. 1

    Upload clean Android screens

Use current app UI with safe test data and no debug overlays.

  2. 2

Choose a Pixel frame or frameless output

The live editor includes Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro frames.

  3. 3

    Reflow the Google composition

Adjust crop, text wrapping and the Google safe-zone offset instead of stretching a finished Apple image.

  4. 4

    Review and export

Inspect every screen, export separate 1080 × 1920 PNG files, then upload them manually in Play Console.

Required versus included

1080 × 1920 is the included profile—not the only accepted size

Google Play accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG screenshots with each side from 320 to 3840 pixels, and the long side cannot exceed twice the short side. The exact requirements vary by device type. AppShotSet’s current phone output is 1080 × 1920 portrait.

Keep the story connected, not the final pixels

The same audience, promise, UI proof and order can anchor both listings. AppShotSet gives the App Store and Google Play rows separate dimensions, device choices and crop controls so each output can be reviewed on its own terms.

Compare both stores

Create the Android set and keep the Apple version in sync.

Start with three screens on Basic, review the real Google Play output, and export the included PNG profile.
